All SignVectors files are delivered in SVG, AI (Adobe Illustrator), and PDF formats as standard. Files are drawn to official government specifications including MUTCD (USA), TSRGD (UK), and AS 1742 (Australia).
Editable layered files with separated components (background, border, legend, symbol) are available exclusively under the Fabrication License.
Under all license tiers, the following are strictly prohibited:
- Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing raw vector files on stock sites, marketplaces, or competing platforms
- Claiming ownership or authorship of SignVectors files
- Using files in a manner that misrepresents official government standards
- Removing, altering, or obscuring any embedded metadata or attribution notices
SignVectors files are designed to reflect published government standards such as the MUTCD. However, the user is solely responsible for verifying compliance with current local, state, or federal regulations before fabrication or installation.
Standards change over time. Always consult the latest edition of the applicable standard and any relevant jurisdiction-specific supplements before use in official traffic control applications.
All vector artwork, file compositions, and documentation produced by SignVectors remain the intellectual property of SignVectors. A license grants usage rights — it does not transfer ownership.
Underlying government sign standards (e.g., MUTCD diagrams) are published by federal agencies and are in the public domain. SignVectors' original artwork — including precise geometric constructions, layer structures, and file formatting — is protected by copyright.
These license terms are governed by applicable copyright and intellectual property law. Any disputes arising from the use of SignVectors files shall be subject to the jurisdiction agreed upon at time of purchase or as specified in a written agreement.
Organizations requiring custom terms — including NDAs, volume pricing, multi-seat access, or jurisdiction-specific compliance documentation — are encouraged to contact our team directly.
We work with DOTs, engineering firms, sign manufacturers, and government agencies worldwide and can tailor agreements to meet procurement requirements.
